Captain Terry Lee Lacoss, an IGFA Captain for 10 years. Captain Terry has fished in many of the U.S. waters including Alaska, Mexico, Cuba and Costa Rica. His fishing knowledge spans from freshwater streams to bluewater. Captain Terry has written thousands of articles for Florida Sportsman, SKA, Georgia Sportsman, Coastal Angler, Amelia Now, Stroll, News Leader, and two books, Florida Sportsman Redfish and SKA Kingfish. He has earned 1st place Florida Press honors, several honors writing in the News Leader newspaper, and is a past PGA golf professional.
As the elder half of one of the most successful father/son fishing teams in the United States, Terry Lacoss joined the IGFA representatives with several bass, kingfish and redfish titles to his name. He also currently averages 200 days on the water annually, and ownes and operates Amelia Angler Outfitters. Conservation is one of Lacoss' passions, and he dedicates time to a working group of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and as a member of the Coastal Conservation Association. As an IGFA Representative Lacoss hopes to work with captains and charter business owners to share how the IGFA can help promote the sport and game fish conservation.
