Big sea trout weighing to ten pounds are now being caught in the fishy waters of Amelia Island both on artificial and live baits. Best tide is the last of the in-coming and first of the falling tides when water clarity is best. A favorite surface plug is the Storm "Chug Bug" in the chrome and blue color pattern. Best live bait includes live shrimp fished under a small float and allowed to drift over a shell bottom.
