With extremely high tides, good numbers of redfish running from 20-30 inches have been feeding in the spartina grasses on fiddler crabs, shrimp and crustaceans. Casting a god spoon, or led head with a Berkley Gulp plastic shrimp works best. Prepare for an amazing fight while strong swimming redfish bull their way into the flooded grasses.
Fly fishing is great sport as well while casting with an eight weight fly rod and a crab pattern fly in the color pattern brown, gold and orange.
