Winter red and sea trout fishing is excellent during the month of January & February, particularly during the warmer portions of the day and when there is a high falling tide. Fishing close to boat dock pilings and deep water oyster mounds is key with a variety of shrimp and crab lures, including the every popular Berkley Shrimp in the white or New Penny color pattern.
